On 23rd of May 2009 I returned to the CEF campsite Ribeira Seca Terceira Azores after an absence of more than a month to find the inside of the house in the process of transformation. Electrics and plumbing are installed; walls are plasterboarded and painted; floors are tiled. The photograph here shows the downstairs rooms of the house and represents hours of work by many people including our builder missionary and countless volunteers from all the evangelical churches on the island. Pray for the continued work as we go through a period of change when numbers at the Azorean Baptist Church are quite low and we prepare for the first camp to be held on the campsite this year.
Pray especially about pending planning permission for the toilet/shower block which is essential if we are to hold camps here this year
There are more up to date photos of work in progress in the current photo gallery entitled Workday 23rd May 2009
